Project Pickle

Project Pickle connects children and young people with food, farming and the future of agriculture. Located near Market Square, the allotment gardens and orchard, the program brings learning outdoors through practical, seasonal experiences. Participants may prepare soil, plant, water and harvest while following the journey from growing food to eating it. Along the way, they learn how pollinators, gardens, farms and local food systems are connected. Program availability varies by season.
