Meet Farmer Mike of Project Pickle

November 29 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Curious to learn more about Project Pickle and the future of agriculture in our community?

Join us on Sunday, November 29th, at Southlands Grange for a unique opportunity to meet Farmer Mike Schneider, founder of Project Pickle, and discover the story, vision and purpose behind this inspiring initiative.

Take part in an engaging discussion exploring the importance of agricultural literacy, the current state of British Columbia’s agri-food economy, and the role that local farmers and food producers play in building strong, sustainable food systems.

Learn more about the importance of supporting local agriculture, strengthening regional food networks, and creating greater awareness around where our food comes from. Mike will also share insights into the many opportunities and career pathways within the agriculture and food sectors, and how education and hands-on experiences can help inspire the next generation of agricultural leaders.

Whether you’re passionate about local food, interested in the future of farming, or simply curious about what Project Pickle is all about, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect, learn and be part of the conversation.

Event will be outside at the Project Pickle learning farm. Please dress accordingly!
