Class Description

When people ask us how to be successful in their gardens, our answer is unequivocally, without a doubt, always: Planning! There are many considerations when it comes to what to grow and in this episode, you will discover some of the basics on how to plan for a productive and bountiful season, including companion planting, timing and common pest issues. Jenna from Victory Gardens will be joining us again to lead this online workshop.

Victory Gardens utilizes a holistic approach to transform urban environments into food-focused ecological landscapes. These gardens are productive, ecologically beneficial, and engaging.

Instructor Information

Jenna Jaski is a co-owner of Victory Gardens Vancouver, and has a BSc in Environmental Sciences. Jenna brings her passion for nature and learning to her role as a senior garden coach, and project manager & lead facilitator for The Classroom Gardener program. Through her work with residential clients, students, teachers, and workshop participants, Jenna is a beloved facilitator who is perfectly suited to share her knowledge and skills to support novice and experienced gardeners across the region.
