Exploring Mushrooms through our Senses

In this unique workshop, you will get to know mushrooms through touch, smell, sounds, taste and sight. Through playful, educational and artistic prompts, you will learn to recognize fungi through touch, identify their visual features, discover the surprising diversity of their aromas using an aromatic fungi wheel, listen to their sounds through biosonification, and enjoy edible mushroom flavoured snacks and tea!  Participants will learn about mushrooms through scientific and embodied knowledge, and will bring home drawings, one mushroom inspired perfume strip, and wonderful memories.

Participants must be 6+ years. All attendees must purchase a ticket and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
