In this festive sourdough focaccia art class, participants will learn the fundamentals of sourdough baking, gain an understanding of fermentation, and discover how to create their own delicious focaccia at home.
This hands-on workshop will guide you through the process of preparing and shaping focaccia dough before moving into the creative “art” portion of the class. With a variety of design inspirations to choose from, you’ll use fresh, seasonal ingredients to craft a stunning, holiday-inspired focaccia masterpiece.
Everyone will leave with their own individual focaccia, which you can choose to bake onsite before you go or take home to bake later. No need to bring a thing—all materials and ingredients will be provided. While this is a hands-on experience, it won’t get too messy, so you’re welcome to come dressed as you are.
Learn from Charlie Holiday, sourdough baker and founder of The Wild Knead, and walk away with new baking skills and a delicious, edible work of art.
