This interactive workshop will start with a presentation covering basic mushroom biology and an overview of the entire cultivation process, and will conclude with the hands-on process of making a grow bag and learning how to care for it!

- Cloning mushrooms to start cultures
- Growing and using liquid culture
- Making and using grain spawn
- Growing mushrooms on straw, sawdust, and other wastes
- Indoor fruiting
- Outdoor mushroom gardens and logs
- Building equipment and infrastructure
- Profiles of commonly cultivated mushroom varieties
