Seann Dory is the founder and farmer at Salt & Harrow, a diversified organic vegetable operation with locations on Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland. Seann was the Co-Director and Founder of Sole Food Street Farms, a social enterprise that provides jobs and agricultural training for people in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver. Previously, Seann was a project manager at another DTES social enterprise, United We Can. Seann is also the Co-Founder of the Young Agrarians; an initiative to recruit, promote and support young farmers in Canada. Seann brings strong managerial skills, and extensive experience managing fast paced farm & food establishments in Vancouver. Seann speaks regularly at events including the Young Farmers Conference at Stone Barns and the EAT! Festival. Seann sits on numerous boards and is the BC representative on the board of National Farmers Union. Seann has been a guest lecturer at the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University and Kwantlen Polytechnic University. In the social enterprise space, Seann has given talks at the Leading Change Summit, the Social Enterprise World Forum and Pecha Kucha at the Orpheum Theatre.
